With over 20 years in the hospitality industry, Eric Gavin brings a deep understanding of operations, commercial strategy, and sales and marketing. He has worked with leading brands like Loews Hotels, Salamander Hotels & Resorts, Noble House, and Benchmark Hospitality, where he played key roles in shaping the company’s strategic direction and performance.
Mikia’s career in hospitality started like so many in this industry; it found her. She was a young mother looking for an alternative work schedule, which is how she found herself working as a Night Auditor at the Hilton Nashville Downtown. She spent the next several years working her way to a leadership role in the Front Office.
Places — and people — inspire Eric’s altogether industrious and adventuresome spirit. The crystal clear lakes of his native Canada. Ambergris Caye, just off the coast of Belize. The hotel GM who changed Eric’s career path by inviting him to step out of audits, and into hospitality.
When you’ve lived two-thirds of your life abroad, “home sweet home” takes on new meaning. And yet, even being away from his native Costa Rica for more than 30 years, Andres Jiminez seems grounded in a way that few do. His travels have already taken him to over 75 countries, from China to Egypt to Denmark.
Jose is instrumental in defining enterprise level systems for Makeready. Jose has a background in engineering, IT and Construction and has opened multiple hotels with substantial experience driving critical paths. In addition, Jose has served as a hotel AGM and brings invaluable operational experience.
Dwain grew up in the Big Easy, New Orleans, LA where he gained his passion for the hospitality industry. His 20+ years of leadership experience ranges from 300 to nearly 3,000 guestroom operations. Dwain's humble and thoughtful approach to leadership has earned him a tremendous amount of respect throughout Makeready.
Lucky for us, not everything that happens in Vegas stays there. Born, raised, and a UNLV alum, Caitlin always knew hospitality was it. Shadowing all departments at the MGM Grand led her squarely to marketing. Today, a deep understanding of authentic experiences fuels Caitlin’s steady delivery of sharp, guest-centered strategies.
